Pôle, meilleur tour partagé avec Jack BRABHAM et surtout, victoire pour Jackie ICKX. Il s'accroche avec Jackie STEWART mais lui peu continuer et gagner et Jack BRABHAM assure le doublé de l'écurie.... MATRA est championne du monde et 1er points pour une voiture a 4 roues motrices, la MATRA FORD COSWORTH MS84 de Johnny SERVOZ - GAVIN....
