Dernière course de Jack BRABHAM, un grand champion avec 3 titres et 14 victoires et un grand monsieur arrête..... dommage..... 1ère pôle pour Clay REGAZZONI, meilleur tour et victoire pour Jacky ICKX...... Jackie STEWART a très bien lutté contre les FERRARI mais a été trahit par sa colonne de direction mais surtout un chien errant, dut a l'indiscipline des spectateurs appelés par les organisateurs et même les pilotes.....
Abandon au 2ème tour de Emerson FITTIPALDI, moteur pression d'huile, au 4ème tour, Jo SIFFERT, moteur, au 5ème tour, Graham HILL, moteur, surchauffe, au 9ème tour, François CEVERT, moteur, au 16ème tour, Rolf STOMMELEN, alimentation d'essence, au 28ème tour, Peter GETHIN, moteur, au 34ème tour, Jackie STEWART, percute un chien, suspension abimée et au 53ème tour pour sa dernière, Jack BRABHAM, moteur, pression d'huile.....
