Pôle et victoire d'Emerson FITTIPALDI, mais meilleur tour pour Denny HULME.... Jackie STEWART avec sa nouvelle voiture en tête, ne put résister a FITTIPALDI rencontrant des problèmes avec sa tenue de route, et Denny HULME fut plus que menaçant sur FITTIPALDI terminant a un peu plus d'une seconde....Superbe belle bagarre....
